Quick reference for the most common HTTP response codes and what they mean for your monitors.

204No ContentRequest succeeded. No body in response.
301Moved PermanentlyThe resource has been moved to a new permanent URL.
302Found (Redirect)Temporary redirect. Original URL may be used again.
304Not ModifiedCached version is still valid. No body returned.
400Bad RequestServer cannot process the request due to client error.
401UnauthorizedAuthentication required or credentials are invalid.
403ForbiddenServer understood the request but refuses to authorize.
404Not FoundThe requested resource could not be found.
429Too Many RequestsRate limit exceeded. Slow down your requests.
500Internal Server ErrorGeneric server-side error. Check your application logs.
502Bad GatewayUpstream server returned an invalid response.
503Service UnavailableServer is overloaded or under maintenance.
504Gateway TimeoutUpstream server failed to respond in time.
